The first annual Indigenous Cannabis Cup will be held in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory from May 18th to 21st, 2018. People are waking up and giving thanks to mother earth for the medicine she provides. The Indigenous Cannabis Cup is a place for people to learn and share their knowledge of cannabis based medicine.
As a part of the event, the planning committee is facilitating the holding of a series of workshops from Friday to Sunday that will cover all manner of issues relating to indigenous issues and the use of cannabis as medicine.
We encourage participation from those who share our vision for the self-regulation of the Indigenous Medical Cannabis Industry through the application of Indigenous political and economic principles and protocols.
The first annual Indigenous Medical Cannabis Conference invites
participation from Industry Professionals, Cannabis Specialists, Doctors,
Cannabis Advocates and Community Members to share your knowledge, experience and vision by contributing a workshop, presentation and/or ‘how-to’ class to the workshop series for the Cannabis Cup.
We seek participants whose contribution to this conference will explore
Cannabis and its relation to: self determination; community safety; combating addiction; providing for quality control and safe handling and consistency of product; educating consumers; ensuring fair standards of wages; providing benefits to workers; and otherwise promoting public health, social and spiritual well being.
